On Instagram, digital artist @marvels.wolverine shared a Deadpool 3 fan poster that brings one of the movie’s rumors to life.
The art sees Jackman’s Wolverine in civilian clothes next to Reynolds’ Deadpool, with Owen Wilson’s Mobius M. Mobius from Loki‘s TVA appearing through a Timedoor in the background. Wilson would surely be an interesting addition to Deadpool 3‘s cast, as the actor is known for his impeccable comedic timing, and also the perfect character to bridge the gap between Deadpool’s past movies and the MCU’s Deadpool 3.

Deadpool 2 set up the perfect connective tissue between Wade Wilson’s last Fox Marvel universe adventure and his upcoming MCU debut. Deadpool 2‘s post-credits scenes featured the Merc With a Mouth using Cable’s time-traveling device to make a few trips to his past, which allowed Wade to save Vanessa, kill the ill-received version of Deadpool from X-Men Origins: Wolverine, shoot Reynolds himself in the head as he held the 2011 Green Lantern script, and more.
As Loki has established, the TVA is the MCU organization that takes care of the multiverse and branching timelines. The rumor surrounding the involvement of the TVA in Deadpool 3 hinges on the organization sending agents — Minutemen — after Deadpool due to the anti-hero messing with time in Deadpool 2. That Deadpool 3 TVA theory makes sense, as the movie could mimic how Tom Hiddleston’s Loki was first caught by the TVA with Deadpool, allowing for the Deadpool franchise to connect seamlessly to the MCU.
No official word has come out about what exactly will Deadpool 3‘s story entail other than Jackman’s return as Wolverine, multiple actors from past Deadpool movies coming back, and the arrival of two exciting newcomers to the franchise. One of them, Succession actor Matthew Macfadyen, is rumored to be playing Paradox, who is a member of the TVA in Marvel Comics. If that turns out to be true, then it is possible that Owen Wilson’s Mobius will come face-to-face with Deadpool and Wolverine in Deadpool 3, just like in the exciting MCU fan art.
