An X-Men and Orchis Final Face Off is Imminent

The two new stories will come together to tell the tale of the rise and fall of Krakoa and mutantkind’s resilience as they face off against the enemies that have been hunting them for extinction. In Fall of the House of X #1, the fight for Krakoa begins, while Rise of the Powers of X #1 deals with the aftermath of the battle as Orchis reigns supreme. The Orchis Initiative has been a thorn in the X-Men’s side throughout Fall of X, but the X-Men have never been the type to go down without a fight.

Meanwhile, Rise of the Powers of X #2 will see mutantdom’s last hope come from outside time and space. “Floating between dimensions, hiding from a Dominion who wishes to crush them, can Xavier and his crew survive?” Marvel writes, and foreshadowing: “When we find out their plan, will we want them to?”
