Marvel Returns to “Planet Hulk” in Brand-New One-Shot
New Story Set During the Original Adventure Will Give Fans a Brand-New Perspective
“Planet Hulk” was a storyline that ran from 2006 to 2007 in Incredible Hulk. After Bruce lost control of his more powerful half in Las Vegas, the Illuminati decided to send Hulk into space. Unfortunately, their plan to send Hulk somewhere safe failed, and he wound up landing on the planet Sakaar, where Hulk was enslaved and forced to fight.
“Planet Hulk” has remained an evergreen favorite among fans, so it’s no surprise that Marvel Comics is revisiting the story 20 years later. It remains to be seen what new insights this story will provide. The one-shot could even be setting up a potential follow-up. Whatever it is, with Pak and Pagulayan onboard, it’s certain to be a ‘smash’ hit.
