A surprising number of Marvel Comics heroes are musicians when they are not saving the world. Dazzler is the most prominent of them, but there are many more. Some are fairly famous (if not on Earth) while others are decidedly obscure. However, all of them will be joining in common cause, in the Concert of Champions one-shot special.
The special will find Dazzler trying to organize the ultimate music festival, now that her latest world tour has come to a close. She reaches out to fellow superstars, hoping her best bud Lila Cheney can deliver some truly out of this world entertainment. They also enlist K-pop sensation Luna Snow, to add some international flavor to the festival.
However, news of the big show also attracts the attention of the wrong sorts of musicians. Dazzler has a number of enemies, both from her showbiz career and among anti-Mutant activists. This leads to the creation of a black metal band, Deep Void, who threaten to steal the show and maybe more. This will lead to an epic battle of the bands, as the heroes rally to save the day and the festival.

Beyond being a fun idea, Concert of Champions #1 also evokes another classic rock tradition; getting the band back together for one more show. The one-shot special is written by Jason Loo, with art by Rafael Loureiro. They were the creative team on the 2024 Dazzler solo miniseries.
“I’m honored to work on Marvel’s first annual music festival, and with a stacked line-up,” Loo shared. “Luna Snow was already on my playlist while I was writing the last Dazzler series. So getting to have her share the stage with Dazzler and Lila Cheney is a total dream.”
Concert of Champions #1 arrives in comic shops everywhere on April 2, 2025.
