Agatha All Along gives Kathryn Hahn’s eponymous wicked witch a chance to shine in her Disney+ series. The spinoff delves deeper into the dark side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, bringing all kinds of witches, warlocks, and other magical characters into the franchise. Agatha is the true standout of the series, thanks in large part to Hahn’s terrific performance, which is only enhanced after her breakout in WandaVision. Thanks to her recent spinoff, Agatha is one of the breakout stars in the MCU’s Multiverse Saga.

The events of Agatha All Along see Harkness gather a new coven of witches to help her take the perilous journey down the Witches’ Road, where she hopes to regain the powers that were stolen from her after her confrontation with the Scarlet Witch three years earlier. Agatha’s journey down the road forces her to take a deeper look at herself and her toxic selfishness–even if she doesn’t seem to regret her evil deeds. Even with Agatha’s death in the finale of her spinoff series, fans desperately hope that this isn’t the last they’ve seen of Agatha Harkness. The wicked witch’s return as a ghost seems to imply that she could still have a few adventures left in her even after her death. As such, several upcoming and rumored MCU projects would be perfect to feature the return of Kathryn Hahn’s breakout character.

Agatha Harkness Could Show Up in Vision Quest

Vision Quest Is the Final Installment of an MCU Trilogy Beginning With WandaVision

Vision Quest is set to begin filming next year, following the adventures of Paul Bettany’s White Vision after the events of WandaVision. Despite Vision’s death at the end of Avengers: Infinity War, his consciousness was implanted into a new body created by S.W.O.R.D., allowing the synthezoid to live again. He took off after regaining his memories and hasn’t been seen in years, but fans will finally get to catch up with him during the events of his Disney+ spinoff series, which is expected to air sometime in 2026. The upcoming spinoff is expected to create a pseudo-trilogy of Disney+ series alongside WandaVision and Agatha All Along. As such, fans should expect to see several characters from the previous two series return in Vision Quest, potentially including Agatha Harkness herself.

The upcoming Vision-led series is already getting fans excited. With the recent news that James Spader’s Ultron will return in Vision Quest, there may be room for many more exciting cameos therein. Following their adventure on the Witches’ Road, Agatha Harkness and Billy Maximoff could show up in Vision’s upcoming spinoff as they continue their search for Tommy, who was resurrected in the final episodes of Agatha All Along. This could potentially lead to Vision finally reuniting with his sons after their tragic separation at the end of WandaVision. However, Vision may still have a bone to pick with Agatha, who attempted to destroy his family in the previous series. If the two Marvel characters should meet again, it may lead to a rematch that pits magic against technology.

Agatha Harkness Could Make a Surprise Appearance in Ironheart

Ironheart Pits Technology Against Magic

Riri Williams was introduced in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever as a new teenage hero following in the footsteps of Tony Stark. After developing her suit of armor, Riri became Ironheart and fought alongside the Wakandans in their war with Namor the Sub-Mariner, and his kingdom of Talokan. Now, Ironheart is set to return in her own self-titled Disney+ series, which will be released next June. Although Ironheart and Agatha Harkness don’t have much to do with one another in the comics, there may be a surprising place for the purple witch in the upcoming Marvel series.

Ironheart‘s main villain, the Hood, is a powerful mystical character from Marvel Comics who uses magic to gain more and more power for himself. This is an interesting choice to fight Ironheart, as the hero is mostly based on technology. The upcoming Disney+ series seems to be exploring what a battle between technology and magic will look like as Ironheart comes to blows with the Hood. With this premise, other magical characters could work their way into Ironheart–including Agatha Harkness. It would be extremely interesting to see Agatha interact with the Hood, perhaps providing some much-needed backstory for the character and his powerful cloak. The witch might even try to steal the Hood’s power for herself, as she is known to do, creating a new rivalry between two of the most powerful magicians in the MCU.

Agatha All Along: Quicksilver’s Return, Explained

An MCU familiar face is back on the MCU and fans are eager to know more about it.

The Midnight Sons Are a Supernatural Team Rumored to Be Joining the MCU

For years, fans have been buzzing about a possible Midnight Sons movie, which would unite the MCU’s supernatural characters for an Avengers-level team-up. Potential members of this new team could include such heroes and antiheroes as Doctor Strange, Blade, Ghost Rider, Moon Knight, Black Knight, Werewolf by Night, Man-Thing, Elsa Bloodstone, and more. With a lineup filled with sorcerers and other supernatural monsters, Agatha Harkness would make a natural inclusion in the Midnight Sons. A powerful witch who has survived for centuries, Agatha would be one of the team’s most powerful members, even if her teammates could never fully trust her.

While the idea of Agatha Harkness joining the Midnight Sons is exhilarating, there are also a few major difficulties with this theory. Most importantly, Marvel’s build-up to the Midnight Sons has run into several setbacks. Recently, Blade was delayed indefinitely after years of remaining in development hell. Many fans believed that this film would be the lynchpin in building up to the Midnight Sons, with Blade serving as the team’s leader. With Blade now officially off of Marvel’s release calendar, the future of a supernatural MCU team seems uncertain. Even though it would have been great to see Agatha Harkness join the Midnight Sons in the MCU, it might be best for her character if her future wasn’t tied to the fate of the team.

Agatha Harkness may be dead, but her adventures in the Marvel Cinematic Universe are far from finished. With several potential projects that could feature her return on the horizon, fans can only wait with anticipation to see where their favorite wicked witch will show up next.
