Summary
This image features cosplayers embodying characters like Daredevil, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Blade, Iron Fist, Moon Knight and Punisher.
This compelling cosplay image advocates for a resurgence of this Marvel Knights team in the MCU, or at the very least, a new limited series in the comic space.
The Marvel Knights is a now-defunct superhero team that hasn’t been seen in the comic space for quite some time and was once rostered by a handful of characters who usually fight the good fight with boots on the ground in the cities they’ve pledged to protect. Now, in an incredibly impressive cosplay collaboration, Daredevil, Moon Knight, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Punisher, and more reunite to bring the Marvel Knights into the present day.
Shared on social media by all cosplayers present — Raymond Weijland (@raymondweijland) as Iron Fist, Andy Lobo (@aandylobo) as Moon Knight, Caleb Weeks (@calebweekss) as The Punisher and Daredevil, Brandon Jackson (@chiefgeekphotography) as Blade, @gothambat_si as Wolverine, and finally, Taylor (@pet3r_parkour) as Spider-Man — these talents let their custom costumes speak for themselves, with each doing justice to the Marvel characters they embody.
Brought together thanks to the impeccable photo editing skills of @wens.1998, this creator is no stranger to photographing, touching up images, and even cosplaying as Spider-Man themselves, with every post showing off their incredible creative prowess.

Moon Knight doesn’t change his all-white look often, but in a new cosplay design his black and white costume gets a live-action upgrade the MCU needs.
Marvel Knights Make Their Live-Action Debut in New Cosplay Collaboration Photo

Premiering in 1998, the Marvel Knights, consisting of Daredevil, Black Widow, Cloak and Dagger, Morbius, Elektra, Blade, Ghost Rider, The Punisher, Moon Knight, Shang-Chi, and Luke Cage, were a superhero crew that never officially went by the Marvel Knights moniker, yet still functioned as a proper team when needed — specifically when they went after The Punisher to take him to task for his violent ways. Also receiving a team in the 2099 Universe and even Marvel’s Ultimate Universe, the Marvel Knights eventually added even more characters to these variant rosters, like Iron Fist, Spider-Man, Black Panther, and more.
Lining up these talented cosplayers on a stairway in a darkened alley somewhere deep in New York City, @wens.1998 desaturates the image ever so slightly, adding to the gritty look and feel of the photo while also editing in some choice effects like Iron Fist’s glowing hand. Looking down at viewers as if the team has finally caught up to the criminal they’ve been hunting, Iron Fist, an MCU-inspired Moon Knight, Punisher, Daredevil, Blade, an X-Force-esque Wolverine, and Spider-Man all look the part from a cosplay perspective, nailing comic-accurate looks that are indistinguishable from the characters they’re based on.
Marvel Knights Reunite In Cosplay Form, Proving The Team Needs A Reimagining
So while this Marvel team hasn’t been seen since their six-issue 20th-anniversary miniseries concluded in 2019, this cosplay image makes a convincing case for why the Marvel Knights not only need a resurgence in the comic space but barring that, at least deserve some proper live-action representation in the MCU — something that’s entirely possible considering all of these characters currently have a presence in that sprawling film universe. The Marvel Knights deserve some respect as a superhero team that was disbanded far too soon, so hopefully, Marvel takes note of this cosplay collaboration and does something about it.
