Marvel Comics has been releasing stellar Alien-related comics as of late, with the upcoming Aliens vs Avengers series promising some crossover superhero fun mixed with horrific elements that only a Xenomorph can provide. In honor of both fictional universes, a new piece of fanart merges the Venom symbiote with a fully grown Xenomorph, creating a Venomized Marvel x Alien hybrid that needs to become an official part of comic lore.
Crossover artwork shared on social media via Instagram, Raza (@rxzarx) is a prolific artist who constantly uploads nerd images featuring characters from across the pop culture spectrum, with the world of comic books being of special focus.
Utilizing an art style that combines highly textured linework and darkly vibrant colors to create realistic yet undeniably comic-esque pieces, Raza has previously illustrated images featuring Wolverine battling Hulk, multiple different iterations of Miles Morales’ Spider-Man, a Kraven-esque version of Wolverine, and even some interesting takes on Batman, and never disappoints when releasing a new sketch, with this Venomized Xenomorph being no exception.

Alien’s Xenomorph CreatureIs Venom’s Most Terrifying Host Yet in New Crossover Fanart
Fanart Design by Raza (@rxzarx)
Crossing over with various other comic properties in the past, like in Batman/Aliens, Superman vs Aliens, Judge Dredd versus Aliens: Incubus, and Aliens versus Predator versus The Terminator, just to name a few, a Xenomorph getting a symbiote makeover makes sense for this franchise in a way that fans have been clamoring for for years. By fusing two of the most versatile and deadly organisms in fiction, Raza not only adds yet another member to the ever-growing Venomverse but ups the Xenomorph’s capability for carnage tenfold while giving it a visual design to kill for.
Making the image feel alive thanks to some black symbiote and Xenomorph matter that writhes and curls with the alien’s contours, Raza nails the iconic silhouette of the Xenomorph while adding just enough Venom elements to call this monstrous redesign a resounding success. Providing two different looks at this Venomized Xeno, Raza turns the Xenomorph’s signature second mouth into a tiny version of Venom’s head, whip-like tongue and all, and as a bonus, even adds the character’s Spider-Man-inspired white spider logo along with white accents on the Xenomorph’s wrists — a spot the creature could use to shoot acidic webbing from.
Horrifying Fanart Proves Venomized Xenomorphs Need a Proper Marvel Comics Debut
Marvel will soon be unleashing a sure-to-be epic Aliens vs Avengers limited series featuring these perfect organisms going up against less-than-perfect superheroes, giving Raza’s (@rxzarx) Venomized Xenomorph a real shot at becoming comic canon, contingent on the appearance of the Klyntar race’s King in Black himself, that is. Whether this menacing Venom hybrid character is seen in this story or its inevitable sequel, Alien as a franchise and the terrifying Xenomorph monster it birthed are Hollywood creations that fit well within the comic space, especially when crossed with iconic Marvel Comics characters.
