Schultz and García’s story follows Marc Spector’s death, as the supernatural villain known as the Shroud rises as a darker, more vengeful version of Moon Knight. The tale will “take readers back to the night it all started when the Shroud undertook his new mission and began enacting his unique and violent vision of justice.”

Percy and Reis will introduce the Moon Knight of the Old Crusades, a brand-new Moon Knight presented as an ancient incarnation of the character. Forged in the crucible of a holy war, the new Moon Knight crusader will find himself in Ancient Egypt, where he will come into conflict with one of the first mutants, Apocalypse.
