First seen back in 2023’s Timeless #1 by Collin Kelly, Jackson Lanzing, and Juan Cabal, the Luke Cage of Power Man: Timeless hails from a version of reality in which the infamous White Sky Event wiped out nearly all life on Earth. In the decades that followed, Luke would be imbued with the powers of both the Sentry and the Void, the Hulk’s irradiated blood, and even the power of the Iron Fist, which he stole from his old friend and ally Danny Rand. This drove Danny to take up the mantle of Moon Knight and help his new patron god Khonshu build a machine capable of consuming time itself.
Although Luke was able to stop Khonshu’s plans, doing so came at the expense of Danny’s life, all before Power Man himself was pulled through the timestream and into the confines of the primary Marvel Universe. Since being displaced to the reality of Earth-616, Luke has wandered aimlessly in search of either some great challenge or a power capable of bringing his time there to an end. Unfortunately for him, neither of these have materialized until recently, and now that he has, Luke is bound to face off against an interdimensional threat unlike any he has ever faced in the form of Aeon the Knife.
