Marvel notes that if you’re not a subscriber, you can use the code THING50 to get your first two months of Unlimited for 50 percent off. However, as detailed by Rivals partner Miller Ross, there’s an even cheaper way to make sure The Thing’s exclusive new skin drops in your inbox on April 25.
Subscribers Will Get A Free Unlimited Thing Skin To Celebrate
Ross shared a second code – HEREISTHETHING – that can be used to get your first month of Unlimited for nothing at all. That means you can get unlock the skin and then, if Unlimited isn’t for you, you can cancel your subscription before you’re charged. However, it might be worth keeping the subscription, not only because it grants you access to thousands of digital Marvel comics, but also because its Rivals series better explains the lore behind what’s going on in the hero shooter.
The first six-issue run of Rivals Infinity Comics is available through Unlimited right now. It follows Peter Parker and Peni Parker battling each other due to their disagreement on how the whole double Doom situation should be handled. A physical edition of the first six issues will be released this month.
The second arc in Rivals’ Infinity series will begin on April 11, the same day as season two begins in-game. The comics will delve deeper into the Hellfire Gala which, as the trailer for season two above confirmed, will be the theme of Rivals’ second season. The trailer also confirmed Emma Frost and Ultron will be the new characters added to the Rivals’ roster during season two. Ultron is the focus of the Hellfire Gala arc’s comic book cover art.
