Marvel Comics recently announced the 50th-anniversary celebration of Len Wein and Dave Cockrum’s Giant Size X-Men #1 with a brand-new event, kicking off in May and consisting of five-one shots: Giant-Size X-Men #1, Giant-Size Dark Phoenix Saga #1, Giant-Size Age of Apocalypse #1, Giant-Size House of M #1 and Giant-Size X-Men #2. Now, the publisher has unveiled more details about the latter two entries, which will both arrive in July.
Writers Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing will helm Giant-Size House of M #1. Jed MacKay will join the pair for the event’s concluding chapter, Giant-Size X-Men #2. Adam Kubert will draw the House of M issue, while Francesco Manna will illustrate the event finale. Marvel unveiled Kubert’s covers for both one-shots, spotlighting Ms. Marvel/Kamala Khan alongside some of the most iconic X-Men members and Marvel heroes, including Wolverine, Spider-Man, Cyclops, Captain America, Kitty Pryde, She-Hulk, Beast, Rogue, Sentry, and Gambit.

Giant-Size X-Men #2 Will Conclude the Ms. Marvel-Centric Saga
Ms. Marvel will reach the culmination of her journey through the X-Men’s greatest events in Giant-Size X-Men #2. Marvel’s description reads:
“It all comes down to this. The final confrontation between the mad Old Man Legion and the New Mutant, Ms. Marvel. At stake: Jersey City, New York, and the White Hot Room itself.”

Marvel’s Giant-Size X-Men #1 will get the ball rolling when it debuts on May 28. The final two issues, Giant-Size House of M #1 and Giant-Size X-Men #2, will hit comic book shelves on July 16 and 30, respectively.
