Thor’s future is very uncertain, both in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and in the world of Marvel Comics.

A fifth Thor film is yet to be greenlit, although it’s rumoured that this may be one of the ‘untitled projects’ in Marvel’s slate.

Chris Hemsworth’s take on the God of Thunder is incredibly popular, so I’m expecting that he will return – especially as Thor is, as far as we know, fine.

It would be weird if such a powerful character suddenly stopped contributing to the Avengers’ universe-saving efforts.

If Thor 5 is greenlit though, I think it may be time for a new director.

Taika Waititi has worked wonders for the Thor films but Love and Thunder may have proved that it’s time to move on yet again.

As for the comic book iteration of Thor, it’s just been revealed that he’ll be going on a break having not made the team line-up in Avengers #18.

Agatha All Along’s first two episodes are out now. What did you think? If you’re yet to dive in, check out the trailer below.

Avengers #18 has been created by Jed MacKay, Valerio Schiti, Bryan Valenza and VC’s Cory Petit.

Fair to say, it’s been a pretty eventful run for the superhero superteam.

Miles Morales is now a vampire, and Doctor Doom has assumed the role of Sorcerer Supreme.

To say things are in shambles would be an understatement, so the Avengers is switching up its line-up as they now try to take down Hyperion.

Thor is keen to see Storm join the team but it’s not simply because he thinks she’d make a worthy Avenger.

Of course, she would, but Thor is hoping to appoint Storm so that he can take a break.

As reported by Comic Book, in the Immortal Thor storyline, the God of Thunder is accused of murder – so Thor doesn’t want this change in his public image to affect the work of the Avengers.

With the Avengers poised to take on the aforementioned Doctor Doom in the next issue, it’ll be an exciting opportunity to see Storm in action while Thor enjoys some rest and relaxation.
