Marvel has built an entire universe through its movies, whose characters are now recognizedworldwide. It’s hard to think of anyone who hasn’t seen a Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU)movie or at least heard about it.

This complex and fictional universe began more than a decade ago in 2008 with the release ofIron Man, starring Robert Downey Jr. This was followed by the not-so-well-remembered TheIncredible Hulk, played by Edward Norton, who would later quit the character. Two years latercame Iron Man 2, and later Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger.

All this gave way to the next big Marvel Studios project: The Avengers. After the tremendoussuccess of the aforementioned films, the projects of this production company have not stoppedcoming out year after year. As of today, there are already more than thirty superhero moviesinspired by Marvel comics, with plans to release many more in the coming years.

While no film project can match it to date, that doesn’t mean that all of the films that make it upare excellent. Each has its own score based on the opinion of film critics and the general public.One of the most famous platforms to find such averages is Rotten Tomatoes (popular serviceamong movie buffs like this paper writing service among students), which has rated the filmsbelonging to the UCM until 2022.

The best-rated Marvel Studios film on Rotten Tomatoes is the one starring Chadwick Boseman,Black Panther. In Black Panther, we are told about the conflict between Black Panther and Killmonger andtheir fight for the occupation of the royal throne. Important issues such as racism, imperialism,extractivism, etc. are addressed. All this is combined with impressive action sequences. It has asolid 96% in the so-called Tomatometer ranking.

After being defeated in the film Avengers: Infinity War (2018), The Avengers reunite again tosearch for and confront Thanos, only to find that he had destroyed the Infinity Gems. After 5years, Ant-Man returns from the Quantum Realm, the same one he was trapped in all that time,to propose to the team to travel back in time to resolve the whole conflict.

Avengers: Endgame represents the culmination of more than 10 years of work by MarvelStudios, making it into the top ten of the highest-grossing films in history. Rotten Tomatoes gaveit a not-inconsiderable 94% on the Tomatometer.

In third place on this list is the film that gave birth to the UCM, Iron Man, released in 2008. Itfeatures a stellar cast, including Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, and Terrence Howard,who Don Cheadle would later replace. In this film, we are told the origin of the famous Iron Manand his consolidation as a hero after having previously been one of the largest traders of high-caliber war weapons. Its popularity on Rotten Tomatoes is 94%.

Marvel is undoubtedly here to stay. While not all of its films are as well-received as others, itsimpact on popular culture is undeniable. Here there are ten first places on the Rotten Tomatoeslist:
