With Wolverine and Daredevil (currently Elektra Natchios) sparring with Blade’s daughter, Bloodline, they’re perfectly positioned to kick things off. Women of Marvel: She-Devils #1 is set to show off some of the comic industry’s most impressive women through three chapters. While fans get a glimpse of Shanna, Laura Kinney, Elektra, and Bloodline in preview images, Black Widow and Echo will soon join them, making the She-Devils team one of the most highly trained in history. Wolverine, Daredevil, Echo, and Black Widow are all intensely trained and highly effective on the battlefield with a wide range of talents and abilities between them. They’ve all toed the line between good and evil, and they know what it’s like to turn their talents toward heroism.
Whatever the ominous threat to the Savage Land turns out to be, it’s likely not prepared for the resistance awaiting it as Marvel’s leading ladies flex what makes them the best of the best.
Shanna the She-Devil’s natural connection to the Savage Land and her physical prowess make her the perfect namesake for the team, and Bloodline could hardly ask for a better group to train with. The sheer volume of knowledge and experience shared between the She-Devil squad is practically unmatched. They’ve all overcome such extreme adversity that there’s no one better to teach a newly-minted hero the ropes. By bringing together an unexpected squad of heroes like Wolverine, Shanna the She-Devil, Black Widow, and more, Marvel is showcasing everything its female characters have to offer.
