It’s been a while since we last saw the Predator in their own series as our favourite extra-terrestrial big game hunters have been busy hunting down Marvel’s heroes under the guidance of Benjamin Percy.  And though it’s been pretty fun seeing the Predators take on Wolverine and Black Panther, with another crossover with Spider-man due on comic book store shelves at the end of April, we’ve missed the Predator having the spotlight to himself.

Marvel Comics have now announced that Predator will be getting the Black, White and Blood treatment, with the first issue set to release in May!

This May, this epic format spotlights the brutal exploits of the galaxy’s most feared hunter in PREDATOR: BLACK, WHITE & BLOOD! Across four blood-soaked issues, the fiercest kills the spaceways have ever seen are brought to life by some of the industry’s most exciting talents. Set across different periods of Predator history and featuring a wide variety of Yautja and settings, these stories are must-read for Predator and comics fans alike!

Here’s what to expect from the debut issue:

From the mad imaginings of Joe Kelly (AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, DEADPOOL) and rising artist Álvaro López (CAPTAIN MARVEL, BEWARE THE PLANET OF THE APES) comes a gut-twisting new take on Predator! A young Predator trying to prove himself prowls the Australian frontier, but his hunt goes south when a run-in with a group of humans from a convict colony changes the trajectory of everyone’s lives and takes readers on a journey never before seen in the Predator universe!
Writer Eliot Rahal makes his Marvel Comics debut with artist Brian Level in a bloody retelling of Arthurian legend that blends the horror of Predator’s space tech with classic sword and sorcery!
Writer Sarah Gailey (WHITE WIDOW) and artist Fran Galán (CARNAGE) put the Yautja’s honor code to the test in a story of Predator infiltrating an international weapons industry conference!

The first issue will come with standard cover art by Simone DiMeo, with variant artwork by Paolo VIllanelli and Mahmud Asrar.
