Famed Marvel Cinematic Universe producer Kevin Feige will be honored on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He joins a slew of Avengers movie actors to be part of the famous walkway.
Per Variety, Feige will be honored with a Walk of Fame star on July 25. Details have not yet been shared about which special guests will be in attendance for Feige’s induction, though it would not be a surprise to see some Marvel Cinematic Universe alumni present. The ceremonies are typically streamed live on YouTube and the official website for the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and more details are likely to be announced soon.

Feige’s induction comes months after Thor actor Chris Hemsworth was inducted in May. Iron Man actor Robert Downey Jr. was in attendance, though notably, RDJ himself does not personally have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, a fact that might surprise some fans. Other Avengers franchise stars to have previously been inducted include Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Don Cheadle (War Machine), Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange), Josh Brolin (Thanos), and Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury).
The MCU boss getting his induction on the Hollywood Walk of Fame will come just one day before a major release from Marvel Studios. The highly-anticipated movie Deadpool & Wolverine, which unites Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, will be premiering in theaters on July 26. That film is tracking to obliterate the box office, expected to smash multiple records as one of the MCU’s strongest releases ever. It will also be the MCU’s first R-rated movie, though Feige has hinted how the film is still “wholesome.”
“I think people can tell from the trailer and from the press tour so far, yes, it’s R-rated, yes there’s some language and blood, but the film is incredibly emotional,” he told Deadline. “I keep calling it the most wholesome R-rated film that anybody can ever see. It really is a celebration of friendship and family and of found family.”
