Since Lunella Lafayette’s debut in 2015, the brilliant Inhuman hero has captured the hearts of countless comic fans, even getting the silver screen treatment in her own Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur animated series.

Moon Girl is known for her genius intellect, incredible inventions, and the psychic connection she has with the prehistoric Tyrannosaurus-like beast called Devil Dinosaur, a classic Marvel character who has existed since 1978.

Brandon Montclare writes Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur 10th Anniversary Special #1 with art from Natacha Bustos, who both helped to co-create Lunella a decade ago. The oversize special will feature the ridiculous Impossible Man trying to ruin Lunella’s big day plus a bonus story from Justina Ireland and Luca Claretti, which will introduce the mysterious duo known as “Devil Girl and Moon Dino”!

It’s a birthday celebration a decade in the making, and the whole Marvel Universe is invited! But Moon Girl is bringing her own agenda to the party – what could her secret plans be? And when the mischievous Impossible Man threatens to upend the festivities, Lunella has to rally her guests the way only the SMARTEST PERSON IN THE MARVEL UNIVERSE can! Moon Girl Is Finally Turning 10 Years Old

But will the Impossible Man ruin her big day?

Lunella Lafayette is a 9-year-old (soon to be 10-year-old!) Haitian-American girl with Inhuman heritage, whose latent Inhuman genes were activated by Terrigen Mist, turning her into one of Marvel’s youngest heroes. Lunella’s status as “the smartest person in the world” – which Amadeus Cho labeled her – is often contested, with some believing that Reed Richards, Valeria Richards, and others may be more intelligent. While some assume that Moon Girl’s advanced intelligence is as result of her Inhuman heritage, the truth is that Lunella’s brilliance comes from her human genes, and her Inhuman power is the ability to communicate with and switch consciousness with Devil Dinosaur.
