Palm Springs’ Cristin Milioti has joined the voice cast of Hit-Monkey Season 2.

Per Variety, Milioti has been tapped to play a character named Iris in the second season of Hulu’s Hit-Monkey, an adult animated series based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name.

“Iris has grown up vowing never to be like the father, Bryce, who abandoned her, but when fate brings them back together, she realizes that she and her old man are cut from the same cloth as they hurtle towards a final reconciliation,” the character description reads.

Along with playing Sarah Wilder opposite Andy Samberg in 2020’s Palm Springs, Milioti played Catherine Sacrimoni in The Sopranos, Tracy McConnell in How I Met Your Mother, Teresa Petrillo Belfort in 2013’s The Wolf of Wall Street, and Nanette Cole in the “USS Callister” episode of Black Mirror.

She’ll soon be seen playing Sofia Falcone in Max’s The Penguin, an upcoming limited series that serves as a spin-off to 2022’s The Batman.

The voice cast of Hit-Monkey Season 2 also includes Fred Tatasciore, Jason Sudeikis, Leslie Jones, Ally Maki, and Olivia Munn. Josh Gordon and Will Speck created the series and serve as executive producers. The animation is provided by Floyd County Productions.

Hit-Monkey was one of four animated Marvel Television shows that was announced in 2019. While a crossover was being planned, two of the series — Tigra & Dazzler and Howard the Duck — were canceled before they were ever aired. The Patton Oswalt-starring M.O.D.O.K. premiered in 2021; however, it was canceled after one season.

Hit-Monkey Season 2 premieres on Hulu on July 15, 2024. The first season, meanwhile, is currently available to watch on the streaming platform.
