TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – ‘Fantasticon’ is underway at the Glass City Convention Center in Toledo.
It’s billed as an affordable comic con and pop culture event featuring hundreds of thousands of comic books, toys and collectibles in one place.
Attendees can meet artists and writers from DC and Marvel Comics. Organizers say there are opportunities for guest panels, trivia contests and cosplay.
Featured guests include Erik Estrana and Larry Wilcox of CHiPs, Mark Rolston of Stark Trek and Aliens, and Darren McCarty of Detroit Red Wings fame on Sunday, among others.
The Glass City Center event runs Saturday, March 9 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
