Marvel’s multiverse is home to unlimited versions of Doctor Doom
spread across an infinite number of worlds, each more different than the last, with a Tyrannosaurus Rex Doctor Doom variant being just as conniving and scheming of a villain as his Earth-616 counterpart. Making his debut just over a year ago in Marvel Comics, a new cosplay has brought this T-Rex Doctor Doom to life, giving fans a live-action design they didn’t know they needed.

Unleashing this dino-themed cosplay via Instagram with photos by the prolific Miguel Chavez (@miggychagon), Marc Kandel (@marc.kandel) is a talent who goes for broke when it comes to creating his homemade designs, with each new outfit being more detailed and professional-looking than the last.

Developing cosplays of Iron Man’s Silver Centurion armor, the Fantastic Four villain Annihilus, Butcher from The Boys, and even Ash from The Evil Dead fame, Marc’s latest Doctor Doom design follows in these costumes’ footsteps by showing off just how talented Marc can be when given the time and resources to create his latest look.

Dinosaur Doom Makes His Live-Action Debut in Pitch-Perfect Doctor Doom Cosplay

First appearing in 2023’s Fantastic Four #12, by Ryan North and Iban Coello, this iteration of Doctor Doom, hailing from Earth-TRN1101, lives in a world where dinosaurs never went extinct and instead evolved into a sentient race, birthing a society where superheroes and supervillains still flourished, albeit just as prehistoric versions of themselves. Collaborating with Earth-616’s Doctor Doom on a plan to merge their universes together and co-rule the resulting combined reality, this scheme was thwarted by the combined efforts of both Fantastic Four teams, with the Dooms turning on one another when their alliance predictably fell apart.

Marvel Lays Out the Best Doctor Doom Insult of All-Time With Just Two Simple Words

Doctor Doom is quickly emerging as the biggest threat to the Marvel Universe, but one insult undermines his power with two simple words.

Technically giving fans a two-for-one cosplay design since this look incorporates Earth-616’s Doctor Doom riding Earth-TRN1101’s “Dino Doom,” Marc spares no expense in bringing this green-cloaked, metal-faced, tiny-armed T-Rex to life. Dressed in a Doctor Doom outfit that would work even without his prehistoric buddy in tow, Marc gives Dino Doom piercing yellow eyes, an oversized mouth lined with razor-sharp teeth, and metal-plated legs, showing how much Marc pays attention to the character’s comic-accurate elements while finding a way to successfully adapt Dino Doom into the real world without losing any of his comic book luster in between.

Though Dino Doom hasn’t been seen since the pocket reality he was battling the original Doctor Doom in collapsed, it’s highly likely he’ll return in the near future, as after the events of this year’s Blood Hunt, Victor von Doom is now Earth-616’s Sorcerer Supreme, giving him the ability to summon any version of himself as needed, especially one that’s a literal dinosaur. Doctor Doom has been given some awesome cosplays in the past, but when it comes to mixing the King of the Dinosaurs with the King of Latveria, Marc Kandel’s (@marc.kandel) incredible design takes the crown.
