2025 will be a big year for the Fantastic Four. Beyond their upcoming introduction to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, they have a key role in Marvel ComicsOne World Under Doom event. Now, the First Family of Marvel will also headline a new miniseries, Fantastic Four Fanfare.

The new anthology will feature new stories and artwork from some of the industry’s biggest writers and artists. Many of them enjoyed lengthy runs on the monthly Fantastic Four title. Others wrote miniseries featuring the team. In any case, their work with the First Family of Marvel is generally well-regarded.

This all-star collective of famous writers includes Jonathan Hickman, Mark Waid, Dan Slott, Chip Zdarsky, Andrew Wheeler, and J. Michael Straczynski. The announced artists include Alan Davis, Mike Allred, Sara Pichelli, Ramon Rosanas, and Mark Bagley. More creators will be announced in the coming months, as the miniseries continues.

Every issue of Fantastic Four Fanfare will focus on a different member of the team. The first issue synopsis indicates it will center around Johnny Storm, the Human Torch. Passionate and hot-headed, the youngest member of the team also tends to get in over his head.

“First,” a story by Mark Waid with art by Ramon Rosanas, will highlight the ongoing prank war between The Human Torch and The Thing. The second story, written and drawn by Alan Davis, will pit the Fantastic Four against strange hazards underground. Presumably, Johnny will have to rally to save the team on his own. Finally, a story written by Andrew Wheeler, with art by Sara Pichell, will feature Johnny Storm making his first appearance on a reality TV show.

Fantastic Four Fanfare #1 arrives in comic shops everywhere on May 7, 2025.
