Daredevil has had tons of unique and varied costumes over the years, from his iconic red one to his yellow and red outfit. But one of the best outfits that Daredevil has ever had wasn’t even worn by Matt Murdock. One of the best iterations of Daredevil’s outfit came from Elektra, and plenty of cosplayers have brought this outfit into the real world.
Elektra has long teetered on the line between being a hero and a villain, but that changed in 2020 with Daredevil #25 by Chip Zdarsky and Marco Checchetto. While Matt is in prison, Elektra takes on the role of Daredevil in order to battle the Hand. This is one of the first times Elektra has really tried her hand at being a hero, and fans like cosplayer captain_britt definitely took notice of it, as seen in this outstanding cosplay shared on Instagram by patloikaphotoworks.
Elektra created her very own Daredevil outfit to take Matt’s place and help protect citizens from crime. It’s a killer look and far different from Matt’s usual, being far more fashionable with an awesome scarf. It’s not surprising that Elektra Natchios would have a much stronger fashion sense than Matt Murdock.

Elektra is easily one of the deadliest antiheroes in Marvel Comics, though she’s never been given the respect she deserves in live action – until now.
One of the best parts of superheroes is seeing the many different costumes they get over the years. Daredevil had his red, yellow, and even his black Shadowlands outfit. While Elektra was always popular among cosplayers, her appearances as Daredevil has only made that even better. While Elektra’s efforts to protect Hell’s Kitchen as Daredevil starts as just a way for Elektra to get Matt on her side, it evolves into something more for her, and she tries to become a legitimate hero.
Captain_britt’s excellent Elektra Daredevil cosplay showcases Elektra dropping from above on a criminal. It’s a fantastic dynamic pose that showcases the action that Elektra is known for while she fights crime under the Daredevil mantle. Since Elektra is accustomed to using lethal force, her tenure as Daredevil is a bit more brutal than Matts. While Elektra is able to respect Matt’s rules and avoids using lethal force, she has absolutely no problem threatening to kill people or even using her sai in combat.
Elektra’s Daredevil Outfit Is A Gift To Cosplayers
Cosplayers are always looking for exciting new versions and designs of iconic characters that allow them to show off and use their skills to bring them to life. Elektra managed to do this in a major way by gaining a new outfit for herself to accompany her redemption arc to becoming a true hero. Elektra left behind a past of being an assassin who killed anyone who got on her way to becoming a real hero as Daredevil, which also gave cosplayers an amazing way to flex their skills by bringing Elektra’s heroic age to real life.
