Bale portrayed Gorr the God Butcher in Thor 4, marking his debut in the MCU. Though not a stranger to comic book movies, as he notably played Batman in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy, the actor’s potential as a tremendous villain was wasted.

Christian Bale Should Join Spider-Man 4 As Morlun
It’s not a secret that Christian Bale loves playing the villain more than the hero, and while he admitted filming for Thor: Love and Thunder was “monotonous,” he clearly enjoyed embodying Gorr the God Butcher.
Because it seemed like he needed a redemption arc to show his full potential as a Marvel villain, fans have suggested Bale should play a Spider-Man antagonist. Morlun, an Inheritor, is the central enemy of all the themed versions of Spider-Man. He is a vampiric being who feeds the totems – the core power sources of the universe.

Morlun is considered a Thanos-level threat inside the world of Spider-Man. Interestingly, his strength is also comparable to Hulk, although it varies according to how recently he has nourished himself and on what kind of source.
Bale playing this villainous character in the upcoming Spider-Man 4 would definitely drive fans wild, and at the same time, prove that he is the most fearsome adversary in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

If Marvel Studios offered this role to Christian Bale, there is no reason for him to decline it. He loves wearing the villain sleeves in movies, and for a spine-chilling character like Morlun, he would definitely get all the attention. He shared via Screen Rant:
“They not only have more fun, but they’re easier to play. Because everybody is fascinated with bad guys, right? The minute the bad guy walks on the screen, no one’s looking at the good guy anymore. All eyes go to the bad guy, so it’s a much easier acting gig.”
He echoed the same sentiment in his interview with The Washington Post after he played Gorr the God Butcher.
“I consider that I had the far easier job in this film playing the villain than Chris [Hemsworth] had playing the hero. Villains already have everybody’s attention from the get-go. Heroes, you’ve really got to earn it.”
Hopefully, Marvel Studios would consider putting Morlun in the spotlight because the character’s background is very interesting to tell. With Bale being a popular fan cast for the role, it’s now easy to give the Oscar-winning actor his much-deserved villain story.
