Blood Hunt Finale Changes The Marvel Universe For Vampires… and for Miles Morales: Spider-Man For That Matter (Spoilers)

Blood Hunt finale alters the Marvel universe, introducing pivotal changes for vampires and Miles Morales: Spider-Man.
New rules for vampires create a fresh dynamic, potentially impacting Marvel’s storytelling and character interactions.

Tomorrow sees the finale of the big Blood Hunt event from Marvel Comics… and while we may have sneaked out a few things that might be happening with Dr Doom in the months and possibly years to come, what about the vampires? Now most people expected things to go back to normal, the Darkforcxe to be dealt with, the sun to come back out, and the vampires to go away. But maybe not?

Spoilers going forward. Big spoilers now I think about it. You have been warned. Because, yes, the Marvel Universe gets its sun back. Which means everyone who’s a vampire is about to get dusted… or are they? Let’s remember, a fair few Marvel characters have been turned into vampires. Including a certain Miles Morales Spider-Man. It seems like the end of Blood Hunt doesn’t mean that everyone who got turned into a vampire will turn back into a nice, normal human. Miles Morales is going to remain a vampire, and the sun comes up so what happens?

Nothing it seems. Nor to Dracula either. And it’s not because either of those is now a daywalker like Blade, this is just the way things are now for vampires. The rules have changed. Whatever Doctor Doom did, whatever Doctor Doom will do, it just means that the vampires of the Marvel Universe can now live in the daylight. And it does mean there’s gonna have to be some changes to how vampires are seen in the Marvel universe, how Dracula rules the vampire nation, and how everyone’s going to have to react to these new vampires. With new rules, possibly new legislation, maybe they can get an island of their own. Oh wait, no, they just tried that with the X-Men, and it didn’t work really, did it?

It’s a brand new day for everyone…
