For the fifth year in a row, Marvel Comics will celebrate their LGBTQIA+ characters and creators with a special anthology. However, Marvel’s 2025 Pride Special is also notable for a shared theme. Every story in the special ties into the theme of standing up against fear and hatred, no matter what the cost.

Formally titled Marvel United: A Pride Special #1, the Marvel 2025 Pride special is a look back across history and Marvel‘s legacy. The comics contained within it were produced by both established Marvel creators and some of the industry’s hottest new talents. Indeed, the special will mark the Marvel Comics premiere of several up-and-comers, like Blade Maidens co-creator Zoe Tunnell and It Took Luke artist Bayleigh Underwood.
