In a recent episode of The Official Marvel podcast, Shawn Levy finally revealed what the story represents and how it’s set to change the game for the Marvel universe. He delved into the impact it will have, teasing fans with insights into its depth and groundbreaking approach to the superhero genre. He said,
I think what we came up with is a story that feels MCU-worthy in its themes, in its stakes, but is doing it in a way that is true to Deadpool’s tone, that is character-centric, character-anchored. Even the things we’re exploring are big feelings, big themes, big stakes.

Ryan Reynolds tirelessly worked day and night to bring this project to fruition, and now that it’s finally on its way, fans can hardly contain their excitement.
