2024 is a big year for Deadpool. His upcoming third film is one of the most highly anticipated movies of 2024. The Merc With The Mouth also has a hot new solo comic series. However, a new series of variant covers will see Wade Wilson making a killing in his usual, literal fashion.
Marvel Comics announced the initiative as part of the promotional drive for Deadpool & Wolverine. 20 comics will receive special variant covers depicting Wade Wilson killing the main character of that book. Naturally, most of methods of execution are creatively wacky, as one would expect from The Merc With The Mouth. This is also a nod to 2011 alternate future miniseries Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe.
