There’s a new villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Ralph Ineson has been cast in the role of Galactus in the rebooted Fantastic Four film. The actor is the newest addition to the already star-studded lineup featuring Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. The Marvel fans could not get any more excited at the news because he is one of the most iconic characters in the Marvel comic book universe.

Even though fans are excited to witness the character’s debut, the cosmic being can overpower the strongest of heroes with ease. As a result, his addition would make him a bigger threat than any other villain. However, the debut can turn into a major disaster as a scooper has shed some light on the potential plot of the film, and fans are not delighted with it.
Ralph Ineson’s Galactus Might Be The Ultimate Recipe for MCU Disaster
The Marvel fans were ecstatic when Ralph Ineson was going to be the newest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as his fan following has the potential to fill the giant hole left open by Jonathan Majors’ Kang The Conqueror. Hence, changing their attention to a different villain would have been a better idea.

However, the excitement of the fans went from 100 to 0 pretty quickly, when CanWeGetSomeToast (@CanWeGetToast), a reliable scooper shared how the upcoming Fantastic Four project would feature “Ralph Ineson’s Galactus coming to Earth in search of Franklin Richards.”
The scoop was shared by Marvel Cosmic (@cosmic_marvel), they added, “Franklin is the son of Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal) and Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby).” Upon reading the news on X, fans were furious about how featuring The Devourer of Worlds without an origin story is a gutsy move for Marvel as their recent films have not done well at the box office.
Are we not getting force fed another Origin Story? We get to start established and going? Outstanding!

It seems like they’re going too big, too soon. Originally Thanos was going to be the villain in Avengers 2, but they held off as it was too soon. pic.twitter.com/wXeFS7pRsi

It’s a brave move to not start with the origin story first. They’re straight up going to start deep in the lore with Galactus and Franklin Richard?? ?

I still prefer Javier Barden or Antonio Banderas as Galactus. Definitely should’ve been Javier ? @MarvelStudios pic.twitter.com/MjiQRnXINV

If they make Galactus into a joke I swear to God lmfao

Well, the writers and directors must think it through before developing the plot of the film because Galactus is one of the most recognized villains in the Marvel Universe and fans would not forgive the franchise, if they made a joke out of him.
Ralph Ineson’s Voice Made Him The Right Man To Portray Galactus
Despite having a questionable plot in the upcoming film, fans are excited to witness Ralph Ineson in the role of Galactus as the actor is known for his deep and authoritative voice, making him the right man for the job. The First Knight actor has a consistent record of taking on different roles, proving that he is more than capable of portraying the character.
Ralph Ineson in The Witch
While one may not be familiar with the name of the actor, he has worked in some of the most popular projects such as BBC’s The Office. The actor has also been a part of three Harry Potter movies as Amycus Carrow and later became the star of the 2015 folk horror film, The Witch.
However, that’s not all as he was also part of the HBO Series Chernobyl and he again decided to work with Anya Taylor-Joy and Rober Eggers in The Northman. As a result, fans should not worry about Ineson’s performance, but they should worry about how Marvel Studios would move forward with the film.
Fantastic Four is set to premiere on the big screens on 25th July 2024.
