Easter Eggs references were scattered throughout Episodes 5 and 6 in Daredevil: Born Again making them a treat for MCU fans. These episodes not only advanced the story but also cleverly referenced past Marvel projects. Episode 5 focused on Matt Murdock being caught in a tense bank heist, while Episode 6 showcased Daredevil’s return to battle against Muse. Within these gripping moments, several scenes contained nods to the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe, leaving fans eager to spot all the hidden details.

If you missed them, here’s a breakdown of the Easter Eggs in Daredevil: Born Again Episodes 5 and 6.

Matt Murdock helps Ms. Marvel’s dad, Yusuf Khan in opening the vault and catching the robbers. Amid their conversation, Yusuf, impressed by his skills, asks him, “What kind of lawyer are you?” He responds, “A really good one.” This easter egg in Daredevil: Born Again is a clever nod to his first MCU appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home. He was a lawyer to Peter Parker, and during their conversation, a brick came from the window, almost about to injure Peter. However, Murdock blocks it with his hands, and Peter asks him how he was able to do it. He quips, “I’m a really good lawyer.”

Ms. Marvel’s father discloses in Episode 5 that Kamala Khan is visiting her friends in California. This indicates that she and Kate Bishop are recruiting other Young Avengers, as suggested in Ms. Marvel’s post-credit scene.

The BB report also showcases a video of Swordsman fighting, which is a Hawkeye reference. Kingpin collaborated with Eleanor to frame her fiancé, Jack Duquesne. Meanwhile, he was engrossed in helping Kate and Clint defeat the Tracksuit Mafia. In the comics, Jack becomes a Swordsman, and his inclusion in Fisk’s storyline subtly hints at what’s next for his character in the MCU.

The New York Mutual Bank witnesses an unexpected visit from five robbers. An individual named Green, aka Devlin, held many hostages, including Matt Murdock and Yusuf Khan. He particularly caught everyone’s attention due to his resemblance to the comic character, Sin-Eater. This Daredevil: Born Again easter egg reference subtly hints at the growing MCU world.

The five individuals who conducted the bank heist were wearing five different colored balaclavas. Strangely, their color coordination instantly resembled the infinity stones, where each color represented a different fundament aspect of reality.

During the episode, Matt Murdock’s love interest, Heather talks about his extensive experience in working with vigilantes. This easter egg in Daredevil: Born Again references Netflix’s Daredevil Season 2 when The Punisher was one of Matt’s clients.
