Doctor Doom already proved himself to be great at playing god during Secret Wars, so why not do it again? In Marvel’s One World Under Doom, the supervillain takes control of the planet with the full support of Earth’s leaders. Brace yourselves, because 2025 is kicking off with one of the most exciting events of the year. And you can check the complete One World Under Doom reading order here!
The good news is you can jump right into the event, but we have a few recommendations to help you catch up. First, you should read last year’s Blood Hunt event, which ended with Doom becoming the Sorcerer Supreme. It’s an essential setup for his world-domination plan, and Blood Hunt is where you’ll find all the details.
Also, Ryan North is writing the core issues of the event, so you shouldn’t miss his current Fantastic Four run. Definitely an easy task, as it’s one of the best ongoing Marvel books. You’ll get a better sense of his writing and understand the team’s present status quo.
One World Under Doom will be a long event, concluding near the end of 2025. We’ll update our reading order with the latest issues, including all tie-ins, so you can have the best experience possible. For now, we have covered all stories through April.
