Agatha All Along wrapped up in style earlier this week. And to celebrate the, er, death of the series, Marvel Comics has revealed a brand new variant cover featuring Lady Death herself, Rio Vidal (Aubrey Plaza). The Rio Vidal concept art variant will debut on Scarlet Witch #7.

The concept art follows up on the Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn) concept art that debuted on Scarlet Witch #6, and spotlights Agatha’s evil (?) ex-girlfriend, Rio. And while it’s not her full-on Lady Death form, it does give a much better look at the whole costume, as conceived by concept artist Imogene Chayes.

And Scarlet Witch #7 seems like the perfect pick-up for fans of the series. Written by Steve Orlando with art by Lorenzo Tammetta, Wanda and her two kids, Wiccan and Speed, are trapped in a carnival funhouse with Wanda’s new protégé, Amaranth. Per PR from Marvel, “Wanda is faced with a choice: save her children or her mysterious new pupil! But as Amaranth’s powers come to light, the real question may be who is saving who…?”

Scarlet Witch #7 hits stores on December 11, 2024, but you can check out the Rio Vidal concept art cover, below.
