The best Marvel action figures don’t necessarily have to be for kids; adults enjoy them as much as the little ones do. Even as adults, there’s no shame in confessing that we occasionally indulge ourselves in hypothetical situations where we roleplay the characters of our favorite Marvel superhero or supervillain — ‘cause it’s fun. Maybe you want to read people’s minds like Professor X does, swing through the city like Spider-Man, or maybe snap away half the population like Thanos; there is no end to our imagination. Cut to real life; these are not possible, so the next best thing would be to have action figures. You can clash two figurines like a kid and make up imaginary battles or just show them off on your shelf in a cool pose, it’s up to you.

Action figures are like the physical form of memories — every time you see them, they remind you of a particular comic book issue or a great scene from a movie. Collecting action figures is also an expensive hobby to have. Small and basic action figures may have an affordable price tag but if you’re looking for exclusive, well-articulated, and well-detailed action figures, then you will have to dig deep into those pockets. If you’re a collector and are a huge fan, then you will find it easy to swipe your debit cards, but they’re expensive nonetheless. With this list, we’ve listed a few action figures that are based on popular characters, well-made, and most probably won’t hurt your wallet.

There’s no deceiving here; this 5.9-inch Avengers Loki action figure is at the top of our list, owing to how genuinely awesome it is. Based on the MCU version of Loki in Avengers (2012), played by Tom Hiddleston, this action figure comes with a variety of accessories to replicate your favorite movie scenes. The face is a replica of Tom’s face, with the entire body fully articulated. It includes three sets of hands, three sets of face variations, a helmet, a scepter, the tesseract, handcuffs, and a mouthpiece. All of the pieces are made with utmost detail to create a one-to-one replica. The materials used for this action figure are of high quality and can last for years. You can recreate the “kneel before me” scene or him in handcuffs at the end of the movie; the choice is up to you.

With his punk-rock style, Spider-Punk is definitely one of the coolest Spider-Man variants in the comics, and this 6-inch Spider-Man action figure from the Marvel Legends series is the embodiment of that coolness. Spider-Punk first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #10 back in 2015 and was created by writer Dan Slott and artist Olivier Coipel. With his appearance in Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse, voiced by Daniel Kaluuya, this variant gained more popularity. This action figure is based on the movie version and even comes with an additional hand posture and a guitar. The action figure is highly posable, so you can make him look as cool as you want.

Captain America lifts Mjolnir. Enough said!

Maybe let’s just talk a little more about it. This action figure is from that epic moment in Avengers Endgame when Captain America lifted Mjolnir and everyone in the theater, for about 30 seconds, adopted our ancestral caveman behavior. It’s just one of those soul-satisfying scenes that gives you goosebumps. The action figure is highly articulated, enabling you to utilize all its accessories and pose him in a number of stances. You also get a headpiece without his mask and a broken shield. The suit is extremely detailed with some intentional grunge added to it, just like Cap had in the movie. If you’re assembling Avengers in your room, you have to start with Captain America because no one says it like he does. Avengers, assemble!!

A Replica of Iron Man Mark 1 from the first Iron Man movie, this Iron Man suit will always remain special because it shows how smart Tony Stark really is. Obadiah Stane put it best, “Tony Stark was able to build this in a cave! With a box of scraps!.” He might not have said it with admiration but it’s still true. It even comes with the anniversary edition box, which is also great for collection. The Iron Man action figure set comes with four pairs of hands, four fire effects, and a transparent stand to support certain poses. It is made from environmentally friendly ABS and PVC materials, too. This is a version that most people might miss out on, but if you’re an avid collector or have just started collecting, this is a great piece to have.

With this Marvel Legends Family Matters 3 Pack set, you’ll be bringing Magneto and his kids home. The set includes 6-inch action figures of Magneto, Quicksilver, and Scarlet Witch. All of the action figures are based on the comics, staying true to their classic suit designs. Each of them is detailed and highly articulated to provide posing flexibility. There are a few additional parts that come for the characters that you can use based on your preference. Although Magneto isn’t the real father of the twins, their pair-ups have always been well-talked about in the comic book community since their first appearance in the Brotherhood of Mutants in 1981. If you’re an X-Men fan, this is a must-buy!

The X-Men Animated Series: Wolverine is an animated series-inspired action figure that we absolutely loved. Although it comes with an expensive price tag, the quality of the product, detailing, and all its accessories make up for its price. It’s an 11.5-inch action figure with high articulation, capable of recreating his iconic moments from the series. Even the shading on the figurine resembles that of the 2D version. This action figure has Wolverine’s classic yellow and blue spandex with his claws out. The set comes with four heads, seven sets of hands, a small photo frame with Scott and Jean’s photo, a turkey leg, a lightning claw effect, and a stand. As someone who grew up watching the show, this action figure is a nostalgia bearer.

This Doctor Strange action figure is something we’ve been eying on for quite some time. The character first appeared in Strange Tales #110 in 1963 and was created by the legendary Steve Ditko. Owing to his mystical abilities, Doctor Strange, aka the Sorcerer Supreme, is one of the most iconic and powerful characters in Marvel comics. The action figure is based on the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The face sculpt is very much faithful to Benedict Cumberbatch with all the minute details sculpted. It comes with a lot of different hand gestures to pose him in either offensive or defensive mode. There are also a few other accessories, like his Cape of Levitation, spell effect, and a transparent stand.
