Marvel has been around for over eighty years, creating countless characters, many of whom have become household names while others have faded into obscurity. Though Marvel Rivals includes a fair number of lesser-known characters, there’s still plenty of room to expand the roster and a wide selection to choose from.

When a character reaches a certain status, creators often avoid taking risks with them to avoid backlash or criticism, which can limit the types of stories that can be told. Lesser-known heroes, however, allow creators more freedom to experiment. With Marvel continuing to introduce new superheroes, there are plenty of underappreciated characters that fans would love to see in Marvel Rivals.
